The ACCC developed and administers the Product Safety Australia website on behalf of all Australian consumer product safety regulators, including State consumer affairs and fair trading agencies

International Organization for Standardization (ISO)

National Association of Testing Authorities

NATA provides assessment, accreditation and training services to laboratories and technical facilities throughout Australia and internationally.

The International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization (ICPHSO)

ICPHSO is a non-profit, volunteer-driven, and membership-based organisation providing forums for the exchange of ideas and information on consumer product safety. ICPHSO’s inclusive approach to product safety draws participation from government agencies, manufacturers, industry and trade associations, professional services firms, academia, standards developers, consumer advocates, retailers, testing organisations, and interested individuals

Monash Injury Research Institute

MIRI is one of Australia’s largest and most respected safety research centres. It provides injury data, research and consultancy on home, sport and leisure safety

Research Centre for Injury Studies

RCISis part of the Flinders University in Adelaide. The Centre undertakes research, surveillance, analysis, consultation, and teaching, and disseminates information on injury control and related matters to public health and other practitioners, academics, government and the community

Queensland Injury Surveillance Unit

QISU collects injury data across the state of Queensland, conducts research and produces reports on injury issues

Injury Risk Management Research Centre (IRMRC)

The NSW Injury Risk Management Research Centre is an independent, cross-faculty research centre of the University of New South Wales. The IRMRC has split up into two different research centres. One group conducts research into road and transport safety, called Transport and Road Safety (TARS) The second group conducts research on fall-related injury in older persons and is the Falls and Injury Group located at Neurosciences Research Australia (NeuRA), University of New South Wales.

National Coronial Information System

NanoSafe Australia

The NanoSafe Australia network is a group of Australian toxicologists and risk assessors, who address issues concerning the occupational and environmental health and safety of nanomaterials The network supports government, industry and non-government organisations in their efforts to understand the health and safety issues surrounding nanotechnology products and their manufacturing processes, and to provide quality data for the appropriate risk assessments of nanomaterials
